The Mt. Tam Ram - Ride Around the Mountain (RAM) - is a 22-mile MTB that features 3,350
feet of climbing and downhilling.
This great 1-day ride begins in Deer Park in Fairfax, CA, climbs up to
the East Peak of
Mt. Tamalpais, and descends past Potrero Meadows and off of Rocky Ridge before
returning back to Deer Park.  This mountain biking ride enables you to experience many of Mt. Tam's
historic trails, such as Eldridge Grade, Hoo-Koo-E-Koo, Old Railroad Grade, the Rock Spring-Lagunitas
Road, and Rocky Ridge.  The Mt. Tam Ram features some challenging and exciting MTB riding on horse
trails, dirt fire roads, old railroad grades, and some paved roadway.  All along the course, you will be
astounded by great views of the San Francisco Bay Area, the City, and the Pacific Coast.
