| One Entry Per Person Per Event Only Participants must be individuals and not groups of individuals. Participants are allowed only one entry per individual. Acceptable Entries Only Entries must be accurate, complete, and understandable. In addition, the entry must be a serious and plausible submission that is contemporary with the underlying event. It is the participant's responsibility to know which riders are participating in the underlying athletic event. Submitted Entries Are Considered Final Entries should be submitted via the Entry Form. Once submitted to Pick the Podium!, your entry is considered final and may not be altered. Submission Deadlines Your entry should be submitted no later than 15 minutes prior to the Prologue Start on 7/7/07. However, Pick the Podium! reserves the right to limit the number of participants to 200 entries. Therefore, the deadline may occur prior to the Prologue's Start. Unaccepted Entries An entry will not be accepted if it is deemed by Pick the Podium! to be in violation of, but not limited to, the terms as stated above. Disqualifications A participant and their entry will be disqualified if it is deemed by Pick the Podium! to be in violation of, but not limited to, the terms as stated above. In addition, if a participant or their entry is determined by Pick the Podium! to dishonor the underlying athletic event, to diminish the experience of other participants, or to undermine the management of this contest, that participant and their entry will be disqualified. Daily Results Pick the Podium! will provide its best efforts to post results to the Pick the Podium! Results in a timely manner. However, it is not obligated to do so. Minimum Award-Eligible Participants for a Contest Wild West Cycling employees and independent contractors may participate in Pick the Podium!, however they are not eligible for awards. Pick the Podium! prefers that a contest have at least 2 award-eligible participants in order for that contest to be valid. Pick the Podium! reserves the right to not offer any awards if a contest has less than 2 award-eligible participants. Awards to the Top 3 Finishers The Top 3 Finishers, based upon cumulative points won at the Tour's conclusion on 7/29, will be awarded. The relevant awards are described on the Pick the Podium! homepage. Tiebreaker to Determine Winners If multiple finishers are tied at a particular point total that is award-eligible, a random number generation process will be used to determine the 3 Finalists. Pick the Podium! reserves the right to offer a 4th place award or additional awards to those who score lowly in the random number generation process. However, Pick the Podium! is not obligated to offer additional awards beyond those to the Top 3 Finalists. Mailing of Awards Pick the Podium! will try to mail applicable awards to the Top 3 Finalists within 10 business days after the conclusion of the contest. If Pick the Podium! determines that a particular mailing address is inaccurate or inaccessible, it will attempt to determine a more appropriate address with the finalist(s). If a resolution cannot be found or if the potential mailing cost is greater than the retail value of the award(s), Pick the Podium! reserves the right to not send the award(s) to the finalist(s). That award will be considered forfeited. Generally, Pick the Podium! awards will not be mailed outside of North America. Confirmation of Tour Rebate Awards Pick the Podium! will attempt to email confirmation of the Tour Rebate Awards within 5 business after the conclusion of the contest. Finalists should save this confirmation for future reference. Dishonoring Rebate Awards If a Tour rider has his actual Tour participation and Tour results nullified at any time and this alters the Final Podium, King of the Mountains, Best Sprinter, Daily Stage Wins, or Fastest Team competitions, Wild West Cycling will not honor Tour Rebate Award (s), or any awards, that were based upon the invalid results. Pick the Podium! will make an earnest effort to recalculate the contest results and properly award the relevant participants. However, Pick the Podium! is in no way obligated to do this. Lastly, Wild West Cycling Adventures reserves the right to refuse to honor a Tour Rebate Award for any reason in addition to those that are stated in this document. Terms of the Tour Rebate Awards
2) Pick the Podium! Tour Rebate Awards are non-transferable and may only be exercised by the specific winning individual. Any attempt to transfer a rebate award causes such award to be null and void. 3) Pick the Podium! Tour Rebate Awards may only be utilized for Wild West Cycling Adventure Tours within the specified calendar year and are non-exercisable otherwise. 4) Pick the Podium! Tour Rebate Awards may not be combined with any other offer or promotion for a particular or specific adventure tour. 5) An individual exercising a Pick the Podium! Tour Rebate Award must indicate this exercising action upon initially reserving a Wild West Cycling adventure tour. Wild West Cycling Adventures reserves the right to refuse to honor a Tour Rebate Award if management is of the opinion that the Rebate Award was not properly exercised. 6) After a Tour Rebate Award has been exercised and accepted, one's Balance Due for a specific adventure tour will be reduced by the amount of the rebate award. 7) Tour Rebate Awards may only be applied to the overall price of our adventure tours and may not be used in lieu of required deposits or for other tour services, such as rental bikes. General Terms & Conditions on Our Adventure Tours and Privacy Policies All of the Terms of Service, as they exist or as added or as amended, will be in force upon our 2007 calendar year adventure tours, unless otherwise specified by Wild West Cycling Adventures at any time. In addition, the Pick the Podium! Fantasy Cycling Game conforms to Wild West Cycling's Privacy Policy and may invoke Yahoo's Privacy Policy. |
